Planning a mountain vacation getaway? Stay at our 2 bedroom mountain chalet. The Shenandoah Chalet is surrounded by Shenandoah National Park (Skyline Drive) on Overlook Mountain, near Elkton Virginia, about 100 miles from the Washington DC Beltway and about 100 miles from Richmond, Virginia. It is an easy drive on great roads.
Why should you stay with us? We think you'll prefer the romantic warm atmosphere of our spacious fully-furnished chalet on 3 acres, to the cramped quarters of a hotel or condo. Plus, we're only 1 mile from hiking in the Shenandoah National Park/Skyline Drive, and 25 minutes from Massanutten Ski Resort. New central air-conditioning for your comfort.
Nestled in the woods on Overlook Mountain with a view of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains, our chalet is a welcomed respite from the hectic pace of everyday life, yet it's only minutes away from numerous outdoor activities, downhill skiing, hiking, fishing, golf, tennis, spelunking, river rafting, swimming, and horseback riding, to name just a few.
